GPwSI led Heart Failure ServiceEchotech (community echocardiography) is currently providing the echo service for GPwSI led heart failure clinics. This 'one stop' approach to diagnosis is proving highly successful in securing the early and accurate assessment of cardiac function in the community. The patient pathway is described below. Based on the NICE Guideline [5] algorithm summarising recommendations for diagnosing heart failure.
